A New Web Page with New Flexibility
Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 1:03AM Hello all you busy sales associates. I wanted to let you all know we have a new website with some new functionality. Here are some of the highlights of what our new site can do.
1) The New Page is Easy to Update: this is important because in the past we had to manually code the page any time we wanted to make a simple update this was a lot of work and resulted in fewer posts. So now you can expect to get updates very regularly we expect to have at least one post a week, and we hope you make this one of your permanent resource in your toolbox of sales ideas.
2) New Post Comments Area: Beneath each Blog Post is now an area where YOU can get involved in the discussion, if you like what we have to say we want to hear your input, and if you have constructive criticism we are more then welcome to a different perspective all we ask is that you keep it respectful.
3) New information request form: We are in the process of adding a data gathering form so we can better understand your needs and give you the information you need to make that extra sale. This form will be primarily used to determine what you want to see on the site, and in addition there will be occasional drawings and giveaways to those who fill out the form. We may occasionally use this to send out an e-mail to those who are interested but as always you can opt out of receiving these updates from the watercooler.
4) New Product Spotlight Segments: Once a month we plan to have a post devoted to an in depth look at one of our best selling Products. This will take several perspectives on the product and give you several scenarios for how you can market it to your customer.
5) New Blog Post Ideas: We are throwing around a few other ideas for what we might post in the future and a few of these may include:
- Tales From The Sales Office - Humorous or amusing stories from Sales Associates.
- Tips and Tricks - Quick and easy ways to make your Job or just your life easier.
- Top Notch Sales Techniques - Sales Techniques we have found work time and time again.
- Guest Blog Post - We hope to have people send in their submissions for any of these areas.
6) New RSS Feed: I am a little new to how RSS works but what I can tell you is it is a new way to gather news from across the web using a news reader this way you can get updates from Bob's Watercooler without even stopping by the site, all you have to do is get a news reader and upload our feed to it. Here is a link to the RSS wikipedia page that tells all about RSS Feeds and how to use them.
Our hope is that with this new functionality and our new stance on making this site an Entertaining and Informative resource for the distributor we will be able to make this a community where we can all grow our business together and have some fun while we are at it.
Just Remember Nothing happens in this economy until the Salesman makes that sale. So Get out there and Get to work!

Got the Gas Blues?
Friday, June 13, 2008 at 5:17PM We are in this kettle of fish together and there is no relief in sight so we all have two options: 1. We can wring our hands and do nothing. 2. We can take charge of our own destiny. At Bobswatercooler.com we want everyone in our kettle to do the latter!
A. So far in 2008 we have conducted five workshops about going GREEN
B. We have participated in two major traveling shows.
C. The regional NWPMA show with 4 booths and 6 people
D. Two distributor shows
E. Umpteen personal calls and more to come!
F. Conducted two contests that generated an avalanche of hits on Bobswatercooler.com.
G. As a result; our major lines are enjoying extraordinary increases.
Our website will soon come with an interactive blog. We are also recording our presentations and you will be able to see specific products up close and personal rather than a catalog picture and text.
You may schedule a personal presentation for your office by contacting Rachel or Bob. The pictures show Gregg Bullard, the owner of Baskets by Design talking about how you can automatically make $$$ all year long with a corporate Birthday Program. The other picture is of Rachel and Elsa extolling the virtues of the Outdoor Cap. Our Eco hats, Flag caps, and Camo caps that feature Realtree, Mossy Oak, and Advantage Timber just for starters!

So what about the gas? Payne Publishers, Baskets by Design, and Pioneer Balloons are members of Distributor Central. You can order right from Bobswatercooler.com at NO CHARGE to you. You can also save money by clicking on the Specials Pages of all of our lines and that will help put gas in your tank!
